W SMART SYSTEM – BATTERY OPERATED
The latest in innovative and ecological Italian design, ScreenLine® W Smart is a sleek motorised integral blind system that is powered by rechargeable batteries, avoiding the need for hard wiring during installation. It is easy to operate using a stylish battery module and control unit positioned on the glass and an optional remove control device is also available for total convenience.
W Smart features a 3.6V motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. This is charged simply by connecting a micro-USB cable to a mains plug around every 1-3 months typically, depending on how often the blind is used.
This integral blind can also be paired with an externally mounted solar panel to boost the battery charge from sunlight, to deliver the ultimate wire-free motorised blind system featuring either Venetian or pleated blinds. These can be encapsulated within a 20, 22, 27 or 32mm cavity double glazed unit.

The blind is raised, lowered and slat-tilted via a touch button control unit which is magnetically attached to the double glazed unit. This device is stores information about each blind, avoiding the need to associate a specific control device for a smarter, easier configuration that’s personalised to your home.
And the battery module is designed to achieve the best functionality too. Two LED arrows on the module intuitively show the commands given to the blind and when recharging is needed.
